Terms of Service
Last updated · April 2026
1. Acceptance
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and GRIT Trading Academy (“GRIT,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using any part of grittradingacademy.com (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must be a resident of a jurisdiction in which we offer the Service. We currently support members in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. If you are unsure whether your country is supported, contact us before subscribing.
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials.
3. Payment, renewals, and refunds
- Memberships are billed annually in advanceat the applicable tier’s price displayed at checkout.
- Subscriptions auto-renew on the anniversary of purchase unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal. You can cancel at any time from Billing; cancellation stops the next renewal.
- 14-day refund window for new members. Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, new members have a 14-day right to cancel for a full refund — exceptwhere you have already accessed substantial digital content (modules, recordings, certificates). In that case the refund may be reduced or refused, in line with the UK’s digital-goods carve-out for content already supplied with your prior consent.
- No refunds after 14 days. The annual fee is non-refundable beyond the initial 14-day window, regardless of usage. Cancellation in this window will stop future renewals but will not produce a pro-rata refund of the current term.
- VAT is included where applicable. Failed renewals may result in suspension of access until payment is resolved.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Harass, abuse, threaten, or discriminate against any member, admin, or guest.
- Spam the community with off-topic content, repeated promotion, or affiliate links unless invited.
- Share, resell, or otherwise distribute course material, recordings, or member-only content outside the platform.
- Infringe any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual-property right.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, credentials, or trading results.
- Provide regulated financial advice to other members. The community is for peer learning, not advisory services.
- Attempt to probe, scan, or compromise the Service’s security; reverse-engineer the platform; or scrape content at scale.
- Use the Service to facilitate illegal activity, including money-laundering, market manipulation, or fraud.
Admins may remove any content, suspend access, or terminate an account that breaches these rules. Repeated or serious breaches may result in permanent ban without refund.
5. Member content
You retain ownership of content you post (chat messages, posts, comments, uploads). By posting it you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty- free licence to host, display, and distribute that content within the Service for the purpose of running the community. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, save for backups retained on standard rolling cycles.
Course material, brand assets, and any content produced by GRIT remain our intellectual property. Your subscription grants a personal, non-transferable licence to access them — not to redistribute them.
6. Termination
You may terminate your membership at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately, with or without notice, for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or where required by law. Sections 7 (educational only), 8 (liability), and 10 (governing law) survive termination.
7. Educational only — not financial advice
Everything on the Service, including course modules, member content, live calls, and any output from admins, mentors, or other members, is educational and informational only. We are not authorised or regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and we do not provide financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Trading carries substantial risk of loss; past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions and should consult a regulated adviser before acting on anything you read or hear here.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GRIT, its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any trading losses, lost profits, lost opportunities, lost data, or any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any direct claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email and via an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, save that we may bring an action against you for breach in any jurisdiction in which you reside.
